Abstract

This study was determine self directed learning physical therapy based on level education and work experience in Jakarta and around at 2013. This study was using cross sectional survey design with a group consisting 104 population and all of population used to sample. The instrument in this study was modification from Self Directed Learning Readiness Scale for Nurse Education (SDLRSNE) and Physical Therapy Profile Questionnaire (PTPQ). 65,4 % physical therapist in Jakarta  and around has low desire of learning, 67,3 % physical therapist in Jakarta and around has low self control and 64,4 % physical therapist in Jakarta and around has low self management. The correlation between Level education and of self directed learning (desire of learning, self control and self management), (p = 0.84, 0.26, and 0.02). And the correlation between work experience and self directed learning (desire of learning, self control and self management), (p = 0,9, 0,8, and 0,9). There are no significant correlation between self directed learning (desire of learning and self-control) of physical therapist and level education and There is significant correlation between self directed learning (self management) of physical therapist and level education. And There are no significant correlation between self directed learning (desire of learning, self-control and self management) of physical therapist and work experience.
