Abstract

This study was to analyzed the relation of Body Mass Index, Maternal Age, Delivery Type and  Household Income to postpartum depression level at Sukabumi, West Java 2013. The design of this study was cross sectional with 240 postpartum womens aged 18-45 years. The interviews has also been conducted with the questionnaire about depression, maternal age, delivery type, household inccome and body mass index measurement. Data were analyze using computer application. The result of the study showed that relationship between body mass index and postpartum depression level was not significant (p=0.38; p>0.05). maternal age and postpartum depression level was not significant  (p=0.99; p>0.05).
