Research Purpose : The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of Body Mass
Index (BMI) with ankle sprain in youth futsal players. 2020. Research Method : 6 literature
with study designs: : Systematic Review /MetaAnalysis, Randomized Control Trial, Cohort Study,
Case Control Study. A sample of futsal players aged 9-25 years, publication years past 10 years
(2010-2020), the measured variable is Body Mass Index dan sprain Ankle. and exclusion criteria
for study designs that did not have a randomize or control group in the study. Result : Get 6
Literature from 5 databases (Hartley, Hoch, and Boling 2018) BMI (Nagelkerke R 2 = 0,069; p0.3 kg / m2 have a higher risk of injury (p = 0.03; OR = 1.61; 95 %). (Fousekis, Tsepis, and
Vagenas 2012) (A) (rasio odds [OR] = 8,88; P =0,005), (B) (OR = 8,16; P = 0,018 (OR =
5,72;95%, P = 0,017) each has a significantly higher risk of non-contact ankle sprains. (Manoel
et al. 2020) Players with a higher BMI have a higher incidence of injury (P ¼ 0.01). Conclusion
: This study looks at the relationship between the Body Mass Index with ankle sprain in the youth
futsal players
