Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of situational leadership style on employee performance at PT X. Performance is defined as the level of success achieved in work activities and the ability to meet predetermined goals. Performance is influenced by various factors, one of which is leadership style. This research employs a quantitative approach using a saturated sampling technique, where the entire population of 170 employees in the refrigerator business unit was used as the sample. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires, and data analysis utilized simple linear regression. The results of the simple linear regression analysis showed a p-value of 0.044 (< 0.05), indicating a significant influence of situational leadership style on employee performance at PT X. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.024 indicates that situational leadership style contributes 2.4% to employee performance, while the remaining 97.6% is influenced by other factors outside this study.
