This study examines the relationship between self-control and sexual behavior among adolescents in Tanah Abang District. With the backdrop of increasing concerns about sexual behavior among teenagers, this study aims to determine the extent of self-control's influence on such behavior. The method used is a quantitative survey involving 111 adolescents randomly selected from several schools in Tanah Abang District. Data were collected through questionnaires measuring levels of self-control and the frequency of sexual behavior, and analyzed using Pearson correlation. The results indicate a significant relationship between self-control levels and tendencies toward sexual behavior, where adolescents with higher self-control tend to exhibit lower rates of sexual behavior. This conclusion suggests that enhancing self-control could be an effective strategy for reducing sexual behavior among adolescents. The study provides a basis for the development of better prevention programs in the future.
