Abstract

Research purposes : This study aims to examine the relationship between Body Mass Index
and Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries in futsal players at the age of coaching in 2020.
Research methods : 5 literatures with study design: Systematic Review or Meta-Analysis,
Randomized Control Trial, Cohort Study, Case Control Study. A sample of futsal players aged 6
years –25 years, publication year for the last 10 years (2010 - 2020), the variables measured
were Body Mass Index and Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and study design exclusion criteria
that did not have randomize or groups control in this research. Result : Based on the 2 results
of the literature obtained, it says that the results are significant, namely in the study (Kluczynski
et al., 2015) that there are significantly more men experiencing tears than women. In research
conducted by (Erandika & Jayawardena, 2019) found that increased body weight and BMI values
have been found to be significantly associated with ACL injury, Conclusion : This study looked
at a relationship between Body Mass Index and Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury in fosterage futsal players.
