This was a quasi pre-and post-intervention study design and SADQ was administered at the beginning and the end of the intervention, which was for 12 times within a month of therapy, which was blinded to patient; grouping and matching variable, is not done yet. The study was conducted on stroke patients hospitalized in the Stroke Referral Hospital Bukittinggi, Padang. Sample patients were randomly selected from a total of 1,402 patients, with inclusion criteria: Stroke patient’s inwards and having stroke more than 2 days, male and female, aged over 37 years, with GCS score above 9, the NIHSS score below 25, are right-handed, especially for MMSE examination. In group 1, the MLD is given as an intervention for 12 times for a month. In group 2, PNF and Acupuncture are given also at the same time. Outcome variables were SADQ scores, while the independent variables are the age (< 55 and > = 55 years of age) and sex.
Result:

MLD and PNF plus acupuncture intervention routine in stroke patients in a stroke patient rehabilitation program proved to reduce depression from moderate to mild. This study results can be applied in a stroke patient rehabilitation program at the Hospital, further analytical study needs to be done
