HUBUNGAN RIWAYAT PEMBERIAN AIR SUSU IBU DAN PENDIDIKAN ANAK USIA DINI DENGAN PERKEMBANGAN KOGNITIF ANAK USIA 3-5 TAHUN DI KELURAHAN DUREN SAWIT JAKARTA TIMUR TAHUN 2014

Abstract

Study purpose is to examine correlation between breastfeeding history, children education and cognitive development of children aged 3 to 5 years in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta, 2014. This study was a further analysis design of previous study with 235 of children 3 to 5 years. Interviewers were conducted with a questionnaire about breastfeeding history, children education, as well as the Cognitive Development of Battelle Development Inventory Screening Test. This study showed a correlation between breastfeeding and cognitive development of children 3 to 5 years (r=0,061 and p=0,306) was not significant and this study showed a correlation between childern education and cognitive development (r=-0,096 and p=0,137) was not significant and this study showed a correlation between breastfeeding, childern education and cognitive development (r=0,074 and p=0,1) was not significant. There is no significant correlation between breastfeeding, childern education and cognitive development of children aged 3 to 5 years.
