PERBEDAAN TINGKAT DEPRESI ANTARA PERSALINAN NORMAL DENGAN OPERASI SESAR PADA WANITA POSTPARTUM DI PELAYANAN KOTA SUKABUMI, JAWA BARAT TAHUN 2013

Abstract

One of postpartum problem is depression, which cause problem for mother and her family especially for her child. The purpose of this study is analyzed differences level of depression in women who had normal delivery and caesarean section. This study used cross-sectional, we investigateddepression level in women after delivering their children using Edinburg Postpartum Depression Scale (EPDS)in Kota Sukabumi.The data was analyzed by Chi-square test to see the significant value. Study result showed that there were no significant differences of depression level between women after normal delivery and caesarean section. This finding suggest thatfurther research is needed for women after childbirth
