Faktor-faktor yang Berpengaruh Terhadap Kemampuan Sosial Emosional Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus

Abstract

Abstract: Children with special needs often have social-emotional problems. It is necessary to look for factors that can influence their social-emotional abilities. The aim of this research is to determine these factors. The sample was 291 parents of children with special needs from various regions in Indonesia. The research results show that parental acceptance and social support influence the social-emotional abilities of children with special needs. Parental acceptance has a direct effect on the social-emotional abilities of children with special needs. Social support in the form of real support and information has a direct effect on the social-emotional abilities of children with special needs, while social support in other forms has an indirect effect on the social-emotional abilities of children with special needs.

Abstrak: Anak berkebutuhan khusus seringkali mempunyai masalah sosial emosional. Perlu dicari faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan sosial-emosional mereka. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor tersebut. Sampelnya adalah 291 orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus yang berasal dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerimaan orang tua dan dukungan sosial berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak berkebutuhan khusus. Penerimaan orang tua berpengaruh langsung terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak berkebutuhan khusus. Dukungan sosial berupa dukungan nyata dan informasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak berkebutuhan khusus, sedangkan dukungan sosial dalam bentuk yang lain berpengaruh secara tidak langsung terhadap kemampuan sosial emosional anak berkebutuhan khusus.
